On the plus side, each of these posts appears to share new information that was previously not publicly known. On the minus side, these posters assume that any of us could have this information by doing some sort of "homework" or by somehow being at an unannounced non-public meeting in Wethersfield.
I am posting what factual information I can find. I am adding inferences where I feel that they may fill gaps. I am aware that my inferences may be wrong. But I believe that we have heard more factual news from people who have actual first-hand knowledge of the process (but are disinclined to share it with all faculty) in response to my reasonable conjectures than we have gotten in response to my and others' clear and public questions.
