Hey Bill….I don’t want to continue to send this via e-mail as Carol suggested. But I believe that the faculty at Storrs were unionized in 1975. So, 35 yr is a very long time to decide whether it was good or bad. And we know that UCONN Storrs has risen to the top public college in New England. And my personal witness of its transformation since I arrived in 1996 has proved remarkable. However, I would never, ever submit that this was because of AAUP or any one factor.
