From Karen Duffy Wallace: Important Election Information

Dear Faculty Member,

 

This message and attachment contains important information about the upcoming faculty election you will need to know.

 

Dates, Times and Location:

Election dates are set for Tuesday November 17th and Wednesday, November 18^th.  Voting will be from 6am to 7:30pm in the Academic Lobby.

 

Election Instructions/Who Can Vote: 

Attached to this message please find a copy of the list of faculty eligible to vote.  You must bring either your Health Center ID or your drivers license with you to vote.  Sample ballots may be viewed on the Human Resources bulletin boards located throughout the campus.

 

Parking: 

If you do not work in the main building, we’ve arranged parking at the Academic entrance for you while you vote. A guard will be stationed there from 6am to 4pm and parking spots set aside in the 15 minute parking area and in C lot (lot on the left side, closest to the building when facing it).  Please see the guard for entry to the lot.  After 4pm access to C lot will be unrestricted.

 

REMEMBER:

The outcome of the election is determined by a simple majority of only those who show up and actually vote.

 

If you are a member of the eligible voting group, you are bound by the result, whether you cast a vote or not.  Make sure your voice is heard on November 17^th and 18^th!
