Bill,
Factually speaking, based on my past experience, I proposed election dates in two separate weeks before the election dates were set, but that proposal was rejected by the Board agent.
When the concerns/requests from faculty on absentee ballots arose, I again raised having election dates in two separate weeks and that proposal was again rejected by the Board agent.

Thank you for clarifying this. If what you recount is true, this would agree with my own experiences with Mr. Hampton's initial responsiveness to suggestions and requests. However, on at least one point, he has changed his mind after conferring with others at the LRB. Perhaps continued communication from you, counsel, and UCHC faculty will persuade LRB staff to reconsider this rather easy accommodation of the needs of the faculty workers, whom they are charged to empower through this vote.
