From Mary Casey Jacob: Seeking your input on plans for Faculty Development in the School of Medicine

As those of you who have been involved in the preparation for our next School of Medicine accreditation know, faculty development is an area we have identified as in need of attention and resources. In follow up to his state of the medical school address last week, I am pleased to announce that Dr. Laurencin has assigned Dr. Jeri Hepworth to work with me in the Office of Faculty Affairs to plan and implement a range of new faculty development programs in the areas of education, research, mentoring, academic advancement and general management and leadership skills. We seek your input. If you would like to help identify and prioritize our faculty development needs, or be a part of the early planning of these programs, please email Lynn Donatelli, donatelli@nso.uchc.edu by Friday, November 20.
