Funded research in Engineering would be high (per capita) and low in Fine Arts. Business is low in grant funding but salaries are high. This is a reflection of part of the market consideration that similar to why clinicians might be paid more than many basic science faculty, or head coaches in some sports earn more than the highest administration.

I will forward as PDF file the official UCONN Fact Sheets covering a variety of statistics from fiscal year 1996 through 2008. Degrees earned, numbers of faculty, student numbers, budget information, revenues including grants and contracts, and staff information. I should have it by tomorrow.

At the end of the day, individuals will decide whether they are satisfied with the trend of decision-making and whether they wish to assert some rights that would come with organization.
