Ken-

To remain better informed on the ballot procedure and the possible outcome, I would appreciate being cc-d on any emails from you to Ed Marth at AAUP or to Karen Duffy Wallace at UCHC.  Please also forward any emails from Ed Marth or Karen Duffy Wallace to you regarding the UCHC ballot.  I would appreciate receiving all past and future emails.

Ed has stepped forward to rally UCHC faculty (of which I am a member) to this vote, which will affect us all.  Karen handles affairs with the CSLRB on our behalf. It is important that we are informed about how the decisions to date and in the future were and are made.

Sincere thanks on behalf of myself and the other UCHC Faculty,
Bill Mohler.

In answer to your telephone inquiry of 10/15/09, please be advised that the Connecticut State Board of Labor Relations does not, and has never utilized absentee ballots for union elections.
