Regarding the information provided by Mr. Hampton (please see below), I request a policy change that would allow for absentee votes in the upcoming union elections (Nov 17-18) at the University of Connecticut Health Center.

In answer to your telephone inquiry of 10/15/09, please be advised that the Connecticut State Board of Labor Relations does not, and has never utilized absentee ballots for union elections.
