Dear Commissioner,

I second Dr. Slepchenko's request to allow for absentee ballots in the upcoming Union election at UCHC. Many members of the UCHC faculty travel as part of their job and will be out of town on the dates the election is being held. As the election will decide whether or not a single group can represent all faculty, it is essential that all faculty have the opportunity to vote in this important election. Thus, every effort must be made to accommodate those who are unable to be at UCHC on the dates of the election. I would be happy to provide additional information and/or discuss this with you in more detail.
