What has happened in the decision to schedule the elections during those 2 days is an example of the problem we have as a faculty. As faculty we know that there are those of us who have study section, or faculty that have tough clinical schedules that make it difficult for them to make other commitments, etc. I hope that by having a faculty union that all our voices can be heard in coming to a majority decision on what would be best in all issues important to UCHC faculty. We certainly don’t have much of a voice now.
