Hi Karen,

I've attached a few of the emails in a long trail today about the unionization vote coming up (I could send more but thought I'd spare you).  I'm very concerned about the apparent lack of a mechanism for absentee voting.  Many of the faculty, including me, will be out of town for work on those days and will be unable to vote.  Considering the huge impact this will have on the health center and individual faculty, I think it is critical that everyone be given an opportunity to vote regardless of whether or not they will be physically here or not.  There are mechanisms in place at UCHC to vote over the internet and I can imagine many ways to do absentee ballots.  I think this is critically important regardless of how people are going to vote.  Please let me know if there is anything that can be done to allow all of us to vote.
