Dear UCHC Faculty and AAUP staff:
An election to vote for or against unionization has been scheduled for Nov 17-18 at UCHC. Information found at the UCHC AAUP website is copied below and posted on the faculty discourse blog page.
It is very important that all faculty (both Pro and Con unionization) take part in the vote on Nov 17-18!! A small turnout favors the Pro vote, as unionization requires only a majority of those ballots that are cast. Abstentions by those leaning "Con" are essentially votes for the "Pro" side of the issue.
