Do you mean 6am to 730am? Or 6am to 730pm? If the former, you are favoring a small turnout by scheduling this important vote at such an early hour.
Also, why the academic lobby? Why not the hospital lobby? Or outside the cafeteria? Many clinical faculty do not regularly go over to the academic lobby as we are hospital based.
Please consider holding the vote in a more convenient location and over a long time period so that all have an opportunity to express their opinion.
