From Sandra Hewett: RE: From Bill Mohler: Online Balloting? [was Re: Important News on unionization effort. Election Nov 17-18.]

I was here for the last vote. There was no on-line balloting. In fact, one had to travel to the Dean's office to cast a paper vote. As I understand it, the vote is set and administered by the CT Labor board....not the AAUP or the Administration. Can it really be the onerous for all of us to walk to the academic entrance? If one travels to the cafeteria to eat that day....it's just a hop, skip and a jump away.
