having witnessed the flurry of email from disappointed, but allegedly democratic, electorate at UCHC, I have once question: Are we now supposed to redefine all adverse election outcomes as not democratic enough? How republican, how preposterous. Ballots are won or lost until the next election. There will be other times and occasions for faculty to express their individual and collective interests about the direction our Health Center is taking. For now, a fair and honest vote favors affiliation with AAUP. Let's get past this and get to work.
