I have great respect for many of my colleagues who chose to support the union initiative. I understand the frustrations that have brought us to this point even though I disagree that unionization is the solution. But I trust that even the most ardent union supporters will be unable to celebrate this travesty: 75 of our colleagues have been disenfranchised simply because they were unable to be onsite for this vote. I hope that there will be some way to make this right.
