I hope we figure a way to come together on this…we cannot pretend an election did not take place and we cannot act as if there is 100% union support….This election will have a substantial impact on the Hartford Hospital discussions ( and St. Francis ) and within the legislature. The comments about Union leadership are well taken. If this is a done deal, then , hopefully, the faculty union leadership will not be limited to the most zealous but to a wider arc of opinions and perspective.
